Bahnemir: Leading red pepper producer in Mazandaran

The harvesting season of peppers in Mazandaran Province has been started.

The harvest of red peppers from the farms in Bahnemir, Babolsar in Mazandaran Province has begun.

Over two thousand tons of various types of peppers are produced annually in the province. The production procedure of this product, which is considered one of the important sources of income for farmers in the region, continues until December.

Bahnemir is one of the leading cities in the production of various types of peppers in Mazandaran, and its products are not only sent to various cities in Mazandaran Province, but also exported to other provinces in the country, as well as to most sauce production companies and countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, and India.
